Josh Donaldson's last bid for an All-Star berth came in the form of a solo homerun, which also, incidentally, gave the A's a 3-2 lead. We go to the seventh!

The A's hold a 2-1 lead as we go to the fourth inning. Neither team has been particularly sharp; Parker has made 2 errors himself, and the Royals continue to be unable to throw runners out from any outfield spot. Cespedes could have scored the A's third run had he been running with two outs, but we are were we are. The A's try to add on as we go to the fourth.
