During the June trip to Milwaukee, I noticed that the Brewers used a lot of annoying music between pitches. That is, they didn't just use typical organ sounds but they even used stuff like Rihanna and Gwen Stefani. Baseball Nation's Larry Granillo made a log of all of the music played during a game at Miller Park. Here is the complete list. Take note that the Brewers, unlike a lot of teams, frequently play sounds between pitches of opposing at-bats, while most teams reserve that sort of stuff for the bottom halves of innings.

On this day a year ago, Brandon McCarthy took the mound for the final time in an A's uniform. Although he hasn't pitched very well since then, we're all glad he's healthy. After the recap of that game was posted, he underwent emergency surgery.
Tonight's starting lineup is out, with left-handed bats galore! Seth Smith is your DH.
