According to David Lennon, there could be changes in line for the system used for bidding on Japanese players.  Players may have up to three teams to choose between.

Bob Melvin appeared on 95.7 The Game this morning and said that Jarrod Parker will start tonight, with all of the other starters being pushed back a day.  That means Sonny Gray pitches tomorrow.  Bartolo Colon will start on Star Wars Night before what is expected to be a full house against Twins rookie Andrew Albers.

Melvin also said Jed Lowrie is not likely to play tonight due to his hamstring issue.  That would most likely mean Eric Sogard starts at short with Alberto Callaspo manning second base.

On this day a year ago, Dan Straily struggled and the A's failed to sweep the Orioles, falling by a score of 9-5.  But you don't want to read about that.  They won the first game of the series in thrilling fashion and took the second game behind a 5-run inning.  The first two games were far more enjoyable.

Tonight's starting lineup is out, with Yoenis Cespedes as the DH.
