First, we had this tweet from the morning:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Sources: Teams believe A's have cooled on idea of trading Brett Anderson this week. May still go eventually. Just not close to a guarantee.</p>— Jeff Passan (@JeffPassan) <a href="https://twitter.com/JeffPassan/statuses/410397358116315136">December 10, 2013</a></blockquote>

I suspect like myself, the A's wake up every day thinking something different about Anderson. Indeed, Rockies beat writer Troy Renck (one of the better Twitter follows, if you don't already) indicated that the two teams have been talking.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Rockies&src=hash">#Rockies</a> talks for Brett Anderson percolating.. There is also this about the Angels:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Angels expected to get Hector Santiago and Tyler Skaggs in the 3-way trade, source confirms.</p>— Jon Morosi (@jonmorosi) <a href="https://twitter.com/jonmorosi/statuses/410497539226746880">December 10, 2013</a></blockquote>

Unfortunately, this trade, if it goes through, would be a great win for the Angels. On the other hand, Skaggs still has questions with the velo drop. He's not the blue chip guy he once was.
So let's begin the speculation on Anderson. Assume that Anderson is traded to the Rockies. What a realistic return for a guy who has a series injury history, but has a repaired elbow ligament and is very effective when healthy?
