Spring Training is definitely not over for the Oakland Athletics. Picking up right where they left off after their 21-9-(2) record in the heat of Arizona, the A's kept the runs rolling right into the cool San Francisco night as they trounced the Giants tonight to the tune of 8-2, backed by two home runs and two triples.

After what has felt like an indeterminable Spring, the A's finally find themselves back in a big league ballpark, facing the San Francisco Giants no less; the team that got everything the A's wanted last season. Whether the A's will be settling any scores this season, especially early and without Josh Reddick and Coco Crisp, has yet to be determined.

Was Tuesday Barry Zito's last appearance for Oakland?

With Zito starting today, the timing just does not support another appearance for Oakland during the Bay Bridge series. There's still hope yet, however.

Calling B.S. on the MLBPA
