The Oakland Athletics will try to put a six-game losing streak behind them when they continue a three-game series Wednesday night against the Cleveland Guardians. Paul Blackburn will get the start for Oakland while top prospect Gavin Williams will make his major league debut for Cleveland.
Brent Rooker is out of the lineup Wednesday as Mark Kotsay is stacking lefties against Williams. JJ Bleday will get the start in left field and hit fifth. Tony Kemp and Tyler Wade are both in the lineup and will hit eighth and ninth.
