A’s vs Guardians game thread

I’ve been out of the country for 3 weeks, anything significant happen in A’s Nation? No deal to pry the A’s out of their rightful home in the East Bay? Cool, glad to hear.

Let’s look forward to today’s game today then! The Oakland A’s are riding what seems like the at least the tenth 5-game losing streak of the season so far. They’ll be facing the 2nd place Cleveland Guardians, who are only 33-38. Pitching for the green and gold will be Ken Waldichuk in an opener role with Luis Medina to follow. Right-hander Aaron Civale will be starting for the Guardians.

The A’s are going with a most of the usuals in the lineup today, with the exception of Tony Kemp at 2nd base:
