Minor Performances

With the season off to dismal start, I thought I’d find solace down on the farm:

AAA Las Vegas (1 - 3)

Lost their third of 4 with Reno, 7 - 1.

Noted Individual Performances (high profile prospect’s only):

N. Allen 2B, 1 for 4 with 1 K and no BB He is off to a good start though, sporting an .882 OPS so far

S. Langeliers C, (DNP) Off to a great start: 1.053 OPS, with 1 HR, 11 AB.

A. Martinez SP, (OUCH!) 2.1 IP; 5 H; 5 R, 4 earned; 0 BB; 2 K, 2 HR.

AA Midland (1 - 0)

Beat Amarillo 11 - 9.

NIP

M. Muncy SS, 3 for 5; 1 HR; 2 RBI, 1 K; 1 Error

D. Clarke RF, 1 for 3; 1 BB; 1 K

P. Pineda CF, 0 for 3.

One Note: The bulk of our top pitching prospects are assigned to AA Midland:

R. Cusick, J. Juan, J. T. Ginn, and C. Peruse.

None pitched in the opener and since they all, currently, project as starters, they should start taking their turns over the next few days

Others here will probably have their favorites not covered, I selected only those of note to me.
