Did you catch the Oakland A’s game last night? It was a good one. Oakland came close to throwing a no-hitter, but settled for a thrilling 9th-inning walk-off homer by Seth Brown to beat the Tampa Bay Rays.

Now the green-and-gold will walk back onto the field Saturday afternoon to do it all again in the second game of the series. Frankie Montas toes the rubber for the A’s, coming off two straight quality starts against the Rays and Blue Jays. Both times we went six innings and allowed three runs, and against Tampa Bay he was tagged for a homer by No. 9 batter Brett Phillips.

Oakland’s lineup has a tough test against Tyler Glasnow. The right-hander beat the A’s once already this year, with seven brilliant scoreless innings featuring 10 strikeouts and only five hits. Can Brown and company figure out Glasnow in their second try? We’re about to find out!
