The Oakland A’s have won their last two games, and they’ll look to turn it into a proper streak on Tuesday.

In the second game of their series against the Toronto Blue Jays at the Coliseum, the A’s will send Cole Irvin to the mound. Swirvin Irvin has gotten results his last three times out, with just three total runs to go with 20 strikeouts and two walks.

Oakland’s lineup will also face a lefty starter, in Anthony Kay. This will be Kay’s fourth career start and 18th appearance since debuting in 2019, and it’s his first time ever pitching against the A’s.

For the green and gold, CF Ramon Laureano has homered in each of the last three games, and the last two days he provided the go-ahead blast that ultimately served as the game-winner. Catcher Sean Murphy moves back to the cleanup spot after a couple days batting third.
