Ride the wave! The Oakland A’s are on a 12-game win streak, and they’ll look to add another on Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.
On the mound for the A’s is their Opening Day starter, Chris Bassitt. The righty posted his first quality start of the year last time out, with six innings of two-run ball against the Tigers. His ERA is 4.43 so far, but we all remember the 2.29 mark he put up last summer, which earned him downballot votes in the Cy Young race.
Meanwhile, Oakland’s lineup will face Orioles starter Wade LeBlanc. The lefty has been tough on the A’s in the past, including a pair of scoreless outings in 2018 when he was with the Mariners, but the green and gold did get to him a couple times in 2019.
For Oakland, Mark Canha is back atop the lineup after getting a day off Friday.
