The Oakland A’s are back in Cactus League action on Saturday, and looking for some hits after a quiet loss yesterday.

Toward that goal, they have a lineup of mostly their MLB starters, plus a couple bubble roster candidates. Two big league outfielders are hurt right now, CF Ramon Laureano and RF Stephen Piscotty, but both are hopeful to return in a few days. In the meantime, the A’s have an outfield of Mark Canha, Chad Pinder, and Ka’ai Tom.

On the mound is Chris Bassitt, for his third start of the spring. The right-hander has been good both times so far. He’ll face the AL West division rival Los Angeles Angels, and their star-studded lineup that usually carries them as high as at least fourth place in the standings.

Remember the Halos now have Kurt Suzuki behind the plate. Infielder Franklin Barreto has a 1.059 OPS this spring but isn’t starting today (also 8 Ks in 22 PAs).

First pitch is 1:10 p.m. PT. You can listen to the radio broadcast for free online at A’s Cast.
