Read more about this game at our Jesus Luzardo Day post.
The 22-year-old lefty top prospect Luzardo is making his first MLB start tonight. He’s thrown a handful of excellent innings in the majors, but they’ve all come out of the bullpen as a reliever. Now he takes his proper place in the rotation, and begins his hopeful climb toward acedom.
The A’s faced Rangers starter Lance Lynn four times last year. Twice he threw quality starts, once he was alright, and the other time Oakland tagged him for eight runs.
First pitch is 6:10 p.m., with the following options to watch or listen:
- TV: NBC Sports California

Frazier is a new addition to this lineup. With a few key lefties out, there are some other lesser-known names in the bottom half of the order.
