Game Thread #2: A’s vs. Angels (2)

After last night’s four-hour marathon, Saturday’s sequel has been mercifully quicker so far. We’re just over an hour in, and already entering the bottom of the 5th.

Unfortunately, the Angels have another early lead. Sean Manaea was sharp through four innings, allowing just a solo homer to Justin Upton, but then in the 4th the Halos got to him for a three-run rally. It’s now 4-0, with the A’s coming to the plate trying to figure out Dylan Bundy. Time for a ...
