Opening Day of the 2020 MLB season is coming soon! We’ve waited four extra months while the sport was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, but the Oakland A’s will finally play their first regular season game of the summer on July 24.
Unfortunately, one major downside of this season is that we won’t be able to go to the actual ballpark to attend the games in person. Due to social distancing guidelines, stadiums will be closed to the public, with teams playing games in front of empty seats or cardboard cutouts of their faithful supporters.
Of course, watching the games in person isn’t the only way to support your favorite club. You can also rep them by wearing your allegiance on your shirt, hat, face mask, or other apparel or accessories, or you can read about their history in a multitude of fascinating books, or even play as the green and gold in MLB The Show 20 for PS4.
If you’ve got some spare cash left over from all those Coliseum tickets you didn’t buy or got refunds for, but still want to satisfy your baseball itch with some new A’s-related gear, then check out our guide below. There are a ton of products to choose from, and personally I’m partial to the BreakingT shirts that Athletics Nation helped create — I’m legitimately wearing the Chaptain America shirt as I write this post. (And since this is the age of quarantine shutdown, I might have been wearing it yesterday too — durable!)
See the guide below, and let’s go Oakland!
