Spring 2020 Game Thread #5: Athletics at Padres

The A’s are playing at the Padres in Peoria, searching for that elusive first victory in spring training. First pitch is at 12:10.

Jesus Luzardo is getting the start for the A’s, more than enough reason to tune into this one.

Today will also be Khris Davis’ first day of action as he has recovered from a calf issue. He will be batting 4th and DHing, as is typical when Khrush is Khrush. Franklin Barreto is batting first and playing 2nd base, hot on the heels from a strong appearance from Jorge Mateo at 2nd base yesterday. Robbie Grossman (LF) and Chad Pinder (3B) are the only other players in the roster conversation in the starting lineup today.
