What looked for all the world like the A’s might cruise to their second win tonight on the strength of their 4 run second inning, the Tigers scored 2 in the seventh and 2 in the eighth to tie the game and force the A’s into this bottom of the ninth. Hendriks was lights out in the top of the inning, so the A’s have everything on the table now.
Cleveland and Tampa Bay have already won, so the A’s might want to walk this off right now.
