The A’s are losing 2-1, but wow, it could have been a whole lot worse, as with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the fourth, the A’s turned a no-margin-for-error double-play against a speedy runner to escape down only one. Marcus Semien has hit the only home run (and only hit) for the A’s and the other A’s have struck out a billion times (approx.)

We go to the fifth, A’s trailing 2-1.
