In his return from more than a year off of the mound due to injury, Sean Manaea has been outright dominant. So far Manaea has pitched four innings and faced the minimum 12 batters. He has allowed just one infield single while also striking out four and walking none thus far. His fastball has been sitting around 92 MPH but once touched 94.
The A’s offense has double-played itself out of a couple of opportunities today, and has been quiet the last couple of innings. It’s time for a rally! Due up to hit for the A’s are Khris Davis, Chad Pinder, and Jurickson Profar.
