Starting pitcher Homer Bailey gave up a deep home run to Yankee Gary Sanchez in the second inning. The Yankees led until the fourth inning when Matt Olson, with Matt Chapman on first base, hit a two-run homer to put the A’s ahead 2-1.
In the bottom of the fifth, Bailey became his own worst enemy and gave up a second home run to Gary Sanchez who took it deep to center field to tie the score 2-2. This score continues as we begin the seventh inning.
