The A’s lost their chance at a 4-game sweep yesterday — what are we going to do with you, Blake — but taking 3 out of 4 ain’t bad at all. As we’re once again tied with the Rays, as well as a game and a half back of the Indians, there’s no margin for error left, especially against a bottom feeder a la the Royals.
Bassitt, batters, bullpen. Let’s get it done.
Lineups below. Pinder and Profar are in for Khrush and Chappy, while rookies Joseph and Brown stay in. This is definitely the strangest lineups we’ve had all season, with only 5 Opening Day starters in there, but nevertheless, I’m excited to see which guys are going to prove they belong.
