Okay, so, here’s the deal. The A’s pitching has been as good as maybe they’ve been this season, collectively, except for a single moment in a single inning that led to the two Astros runs. Roark, Treinen, Diekman, and Soria have been near-perfect tonight, tamping down the Astros explosive offense for ten innings (and counting), surviving a really awfully timed error, all to get to this moment: THE BOTTOM OF THE TENTH.
Just sayin’, the A’s should probably try to win here.
