The A’s have the lead on a (currently) sunny and windy afternoon in Texas. The offense looks sharp, Frankie Montas is consistently in the upper 90’s with his fastball, and the defense has been solid. Texas starter Drew Smyly is on the ropes. While Matt Chapman still looks a bit lost, Khrush has hit another home run and could very well be at the onset of one of his outbursts.
Ramon Laureano, Josh Phegley, and Marcus Semien are due up for the A’s in the top of the fourth.
