Marco Estrada blanked the Red Sox through 4 innings and the A’s jumped out to an early three run lead (Nick Hundley RBI single in the second inning and Laureano with a two run home run in the fourth inning).

Estrada ran into trouble in the 5th inning when BoSox backup catcher, Blake Swihart crushed a solo home run on a change-up in the fifth inning and Mitch Moreland tied the game in the sixth inning on a two RBI double.

A couple of great defensive gems in the top of the seventh inning by Matt Chapman and Ramon Laureano and now the A’s are up, ready to break the tie!
