Khris Davis struck first blood in his first at-bat with homerun #5 for the season. Ramon Laureano followed suit and, in his first at-bat, took it 428 feet deep to straight center field. This is not to say that David Price is not pitching well. He is and, through 5 innings struck out 8. But Price is not the only pitcher controlling the opponent’s offense. Brooks has 6 strikeouts through 6 innings, giving up only 2 hits in the second.
