The A’s and Mariners were set to open their Cactus League schedules on Thursday, but the game was rained out. To be fair, that’s what happens when you try to start baseball on Feb 21. Fortunately, the two teams were already set for an encore on Friday, so they’ll get another chance to play now. Take 2, action!
If you’re within the local market, then today’s game is televised on MLB Network.

Perhaps the most interesting name of the day will be coming out of the bullpen, though.
For now, game is still on.

Mengden will start today. Luzardo will pitch today too.
The aim is for Chapman to start participating in games by early next week.
Weather still not looking awesome, but so far no word other than that today’s game will be played.
