Nationals vs Astros, for all the marbles

This is it, folks, for real this time. It’s Game 7 of the World Series, with the Houston Astros hosting the Washington Nationals. The winner earns the 2019 championship.

For the first time in history, Game 7 will feature a pitching matchup of two former Cy Young winners. It’s Zack Greinke for the Astros, and Max Scherzer for the Nats. (Catcher Kurt Suzuki was originally in the lineup for Washington, but was scratched and replaced with Yan Gomes.)

There’s nothing left to say. These are two great teams playing great ball locked in an epic battle, and they have their stars aligned for a showdown for the ages. Just sit back and enjoy this one, because it’s the last real baseball game we’ll get until March.

First pitch is at 5:08 p.m.
