It continues to be a great time to be an A’s fan. From the views from Mount Davis to the views from the All-Star red carpet, scroll to see what made the cut!
Didn’t see this one coming.
Tonight's attendance: 56,310

The largest attendance in Oakland A's Coliseum history.
The largest single-game attendance in @MLB this season. #RootedInOakland #HeroTown pic.twitter.com/QQNMLhCxix
That. Smile.
There’s happy.

Khris Davis is waking up.
Sorry.
This tweet didn’t age particularly well, but you still have to hand it to Crawford.
I now understand what *range* is at SS... https://t.co/wsy0yjsODD

Consider us on Chair Watch for the rest of forever.
A contemporary history of chairs at the Oakland Coliseum:
— Alan Torres (@cuppingmaster) July 22, 2018
2004: Frank Francisco throws bullpen chair into the stands
2014: Drew Pomeranz breaks hand punching chair
2018: Mark Melancon tries to take out RF with bullpen chair
Sums it up perfectly.
This A’s-Giants series has been lit as hell

Trails only WHO?!
Two laserbeam home runs today for Matt Olson, who now has nine of at least 110+ mph this season. That trails only Joey Gallo and Giancarlo Stanton. pic.twitter.com/dEOp35N7eM

New post for Insiders - the Mets get an embarrassingly small return for Jeurys Familia: https://t.co/TBDvdxmOmW

Drafting the movie rights up now.
Late credit to the lovely @susanslusser, who I’d definitely follow if I followed people, for being early on the Familia-to-the-A’s deal and noting that they’re giving $1M in international bonus money to the Mets. A significant amount, though most still believe A’s stole Familia.

Someone get this man a new bag!

RIP
Also, I asked Matt Chapman what’s happened to the walkoff whipped cream pies, an A’s staple since 2012, and he said they’ve just sort of stopped doing it. No reason, no decision was made, it’s not a big deal and they might return sometime. Just the Gatorade for now.
