Game Thread #100: Athletics vs Giants

This one is important!

The Bay Bridge Series is currently bent in the A’s favor, the green and gold possessing a 3-2 advantage in the six game season series. However, the winner of the sixth and final game between the A’s and Giants earns the steel trophy as proof of dominance during the 2018 regular season. There is pride on the line in this final game, something more important than anything else the A’s have done this year.

Sean Manaea is getting the start for this afternoon’s ballgame, and will be opposed by Johnny Cueto, the Giants’ effective but oft-injured ace. First pitch is at 1:05, lineups are below.
