Matt Chapman will go back to see Dr. Steven Shin in LA tomorrow and might get another cortisone shot - the injury has been pinpointed more accurately, which is considered a good thing. No longer his thumb but the top of his hand.

Mengden went back to the Bay Area to see team doctors about his right foot sprain. There is no word yet on whether he might be OK to make his next start but the feeling is this injury is not related to previous right foot injuries.
