In a pre-FanFest media session Friday afternoon, the A’s revealed their 2018 alternative uniforms, which will further the 50th anniversary season theme.

The new jerseys are fully Kelly Green -- which became an official A’s color in 1961 — and are reminiscent of the fully Kelly Green jerseys from 1972. They read “Oakland” across the front, and will be worn for all Friday home games. Kelly Green hats with the white “A’s” logo are also part of the new Friday ensemble.

Fans will also be encouraged to wear green to the stadium on Fridays as part of the team’s new “Green Friday” program, which will include special in-stadium entertainment and other fun features.

Check out the jerseys, as modeled by Matt Chapman, Matt Olson, and Marcus Semien:

The new uniforms will be on sale at FanFest Saturday, and the team will give away 15,000 Matt Chapman replica alternate jerseys on April 20th.
