Game #153: Oakland Athletics vs. Texas Rangers

MLB: Houston Astros at Oakland Athletics Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to one of the last editions of Friday night baseball before we put the 2017 season to bed. In some ways, it feels like Spring Training ended yesterday. In others, it feels like the season has lasted forever.

Not to brag, but I do have kind of a win streak going; I think the A’s have won my last five or six threads, so there’s something to like! Actually, the A’s have won a lot lately; fresh off a 6-3 road trip, Kendall Graveman will take the mound tonight. He should be ready to go; his last start was cut short due to the rain delay in Philly.

Check out the weekend preview here.

Believe it or not, both Texas and the Angels sit at .500; yet just 2.5 games out of the second wild card. And the A’s have a chance to spoil any chance of the postseason for the Rangers with some wins this weekend. No time like the present; let’s go!
