Game Thread #32: Athletics Versus Angels

Will it be walk-off #3 in a row? The Angels would have to give us their halos if so.

Celebrate good times, c'mon!

What a GREAT Monday! Saturday and Sunday made being an A's fan super fun! Although there were nail-biting, heart palpitating moments, what a fantastic weekend. Time to keep the momentum going. And that is just what Kendall Graveman will be doing when he mounts the hill for tonight's 7:05 start at the Coliseum. A tough previous outing against Minnesota, Graveman is out for redemption no doubt.

Graveman and his sneaky sinker will be looking to add to his 2-2 record as he takes on Ricky Nalasco, also 2-2 and a 4.68 ERA for the season. A right hander Nolasco relies on his comfort pitch, the slider, and has faced the A's twice this season (1-1 with a 3.18 era). Here are the Baseball Savant zone charts for Nolasco:

A's bats haven't had time to cool off from the weekend so let's hope for early inning rallies to build back Graveman's confidence.

Go A's!
