Game Thread #11: Oakland Athletics vs. Houston Astros

New, comments

The tarps are off! The tarps are off! Repeat: This is not a drill! The tarps are off! The A's play their 11th game tonight after starting the first two weeks of the season playing .500 ball, a start I would take any day and twice on Sunday. The A's hook up against another Division rival tonight as they attempt to best the Astros.

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Happy (Good) Friday, and welcome to the second edition of the Friday night drinking thread; this one kicking off a glorious day/night/weekend in the Bay Area, as the A's welcome in the Astros in a tarp-less Coliseum. Tonight's pitching match-up is a doozy; Kendall Graveman will test his smoking-hot start against the Astros' best, as Dallas Keuchel takes the mound for the Astros.

Things are looking up for the A's this season, and if the first 10 games are to be believed, this season could be a lot more fun than the last two. Here's to hoping.

The A's have rolled out the left-handed lineup tonight; it looks a little thin in the bottom half, but as they say, that's why the games are played. A's/Astros. Coming up next.

Here are your lineups:
