Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday! Apologies for the late game thread today.
Raul Alcantara is taking the mound against the defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs. Both teams are putting more or less their actual major league lineups on the field, at least for the first few innings. Alcantara is on a 60-pitch limit and looks to secure a place in the A’s rotation.
This is the first game of the (pre-)season to be showed on CSN. Rejoice, baseball is back on regular TV! We’ve even got a new correspondent, Angela Sun, which is exciting.
