Kendall Graveman and Felix Hernandez have an equal number of pitcher wins (which is a fine but ultimately useless statistic) and nearly identical ERAs (which is a fine but ultimately semi-outdated statistic). The fact that Graveman and Hernandez are equals this season more or less completely tilts the Donaldson trade in our team's favor.
Joey Wendle is leading off as the A's continue to search for someone who can consistently bat at the top of the order. I also now realize I have no idea who the lead-off batter of the future is, and that seems important. First pitch is at 1:05 Pacific.
