Game Thread #103: Oakland Athletics at Cleveland Indians

Fresh off another series win, against the AL-leading Texas Rangers, to boot, the A's hop right on over to the Central-leading Cleveland Indians. It's been a good year for Cleveland, but the A's will try to take some shine off this weekend as they look to continue their winning ways after being oh-so-close to a perfect week.

Lance Iversen-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Friday and welcome to another gorgeous afternoon of A's baseball, where--dare I say it--the A's have made baseball interesting again! I left you last weekend after two brilliant back-to-back walk-off wins set the tone for last week's winning weekend, and the A's nearly made it a clean 6-game sweep this week but for one bad closer performance. The A's have won every series since the All Star Break, most recently notched a series win against their Division-leading rivals and look to best a very good team this weekend on the road.

Welcome to Cleveland, where we will see Kendall Graveman take the mound, fresh of his brilliant start last week. He will be facing off against Trevor Bauer. Expect the usual crew in the lineup today.

Let's do this!
