Oakland Athletics third baseman Danny Valencia and left fielder Khris Davis are not in Tuesday's lineup against the Milwaukee Brewers with day-to-day ailments. Valencia is out with a stomach bug, reports MLB.com's Jane Lee, and Davis remains out with numbness in his left fingers after being struck on the elbow by a pitch on Saturday.
Yonder Alonso will take the duties at third base while Billy Butler plays at first:

The A's also have slotted Rich Hill into Saturday's contest against the Cincinnati Reds, says CSN's Joe Stiglich.
