Game Thread #70: A's vs. Brewers

Sonny Gray looks to right himself and the A's as the Brewers come to town for a quick, two game set.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Brewers are pretty fun. Young, upstart, no expectations, and over-performing. They're not going to make the playoffs, no, but they've made 2016 more interesting than it was supposed to be. With a surprising shortstop, a mashing leftfielder, and a third baseman who has resurrected his career from the ashes, the team is watchable.

Sounds like something the A's could accomplish! With Sonny Gray on the mound, tonight is the night A's baseball turns it around and makes for an entertaining second half and change of the season. Book it.

First pitch is at 7:05 local time, let's go A's!
