Game Thread #60: Oakland Athletics at Cincinnati Reds

Happy Friday, everyone! Here's to turning things around for the A's, starting right now. Weeks don't come worse than the last one, which saw the A's lose every game they played, and also losing their best pitcher the DL. The silver lining is that Sonny Gray will take the mound tonight in an effort to kick off the weekend right.

Happy Friday and welcome to another exciting weekend of A's baseball. Last week at this time, the A's were trying for their sixth win in a row to kick off the weekend series. This is not that night. The A's have lost every game since they tried to win six in a row. Let that be a lesson to them. After getting crushed on Friday night, the A's were swept in the weekend series, and also in the weird Tuesday-Wednesday series, but they will try to right the ship yet again against the Reds tonight. Sonny Gray will be on the mound, and also in the batter's box tonight, so here's to hoping there are a lot of bunt opportunities.
