Today, we honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who've made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and ensure our freedom.

It truly takes a great deal of strength, dedication, determination and teamwork to accomplish what these fallen heroes have endured -- and all of us here at Athletics Nation are forever grateful for their service.

We have a jam-packed day of baseball, hockey and basketball on the agenda; some of which include several of your favorite Bay Area teams! Here are the starting times and locations for each of these events:

• A's vs. Twins - 1:05 PM PT at the Oakland Coliseum.
• San Jose Sharks at Pittsburgh Penguins (Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals) - 5:00 PM PT at the CONSOL Energy Center on NBC.
• Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals) - 6:00 PM PT at Oracle Arena on TNT.
