Game Thread #28: Oakland Athletics vs. Seattle Mariners

Once again for the second time in as many days, the parking lot in Oakland is home to the chaos of a baseball series going up against the defending World Champion basketball team playing in the second round of the playoffs as Sonny Gray looks to rebound against the Mariners. The A's will try to end their losing streak at two after two back-to-back tough losses.

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening and welcome to Oakland, California, as everything we will be watching tonight is centered around our city. I will be your surprise Tuesday night host as the rally baby and I are rooting for all things Oakland tonight. Sonny Gray will try to bounce back from the shortest outing of his career in tonight's game and the A's will try to bounce back from two back-to-back, very-2015-type losses; both of the one-run variety. After Friday night's amazing win, with the home runs and the walk-offs and all the festivities surrounding Manaea and Saturday's solid win behind Hahn, the A's dropped two heartbreakers, in which they squandered all the chances to win, and now find themselves dipping under .500. They will try to get back to sea level tonight.

Here are your lineups:
