The A's are having a rough go of it. The team has lost four of five, seven of ten, and games in a lot more ugly increments of which I won't remind you. 12% of the roster got injured yesterday and the A's are now starting Yonder Alonso at third and Billy Butler at first against a right handed pitcher. These are dire time, folks.
Today they go up against Sean O'Sullivan who is pretty aggressively terrible. It should be an interesting battle as the A's sub-optimal lineup looks to put up enough runs to support young Sean Manaea.
Manaea will have a tough task too - Fenway Park is a statdium for ants and right handed hitters. Not an easy place for a left handed rookie. Excited to watch the throwing Samoan pitch!
First pitch is at 4:10 Pacific, let's go A's!
