Game Thread #5: Oakland Athletics at Seattle Mariners

Good evening, Happy Friday, and welcome to a delightful night of division baseball, featuring your 2016 Oakland Athletics (looking horrifyingly similar to last year). It's still early, as we've reached game 5, and the A's are hoping to pick up their second win; the first without Sonny Gray on the mound.

Tonight's starter is...(checks lineup)...Eric Surkamp. No, but seriously? Seriously? And the season isn't even a week old? It might be a long (or really short) night.

Surkamp will be facing off against the Mariners' righty, Taijuan Walker. The A's will attempt to score more than a run. If you'd like an excellent game preview, look no further.
