Game Thread #21: A's at Tigers

With Rich Hill on the hill, the A's look to snap their three game losing streak against a fearsome Tigers lineup.

This is a long road trip. Too long, if you ask me.

After a hot start in which they swept the Yankees, the A's have dropped three straight due to some bad pitching, quiet bats, and a team that looks like it's on the second leg of a long and far road trip.

Do the A's have it in them to stop the bleeding? Accidental #1 pitcher Rich Hill gets the nod tonight, looking to play stopper for the A's. I'm an optimist, though, so I'll think of him as a starter rather than a stopper. He's the guy that will start the A's next 6 game winning streak.
