2016 Oakland A's spring training television and radio schedule

Where will the Athletics be broadcast on your TV and computer for spring training? The answer, here.

Between MLB Network, CSN California, and CSN Bay Area's Giants-A's games, the Oakland Athletics will have five televised live spring training games from Arizona plus the three Bay Bridge Series exhibitions at AT&T Park and the Coliseum.

MLB Network will carry one game on a one-hour tape delay because Daylight Saving Time will not yet have taken effect in the Grapefruit League, forcing a one hour overrun. A further two games will be replayed on MLB Network and three games televised on opposing broadcasts are not slated for an MLB Network replay.

All 14 preseason games can be watched live with an MLB.TV subscription without blackout restrictions. Last season, 16 spring games were televised.

On radio, weekend games and a Monday night game against the San Francisco Giants will be broadcast on 95.7 The Game except for the split-squad game against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday, March 19. While Ken Korach and Vince Cotroneo will be calling the game against the Reds that day, KNBR 680 will be broadcasting the game against the Giants. Games available on terrestrial radio like 95.7 and KNBR require an MLB Gameday Audio or MLB.TV subscription.

All other games will be broadcast on MLB.com except for the Friday, March 4 split-squad game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, which is the only game with just Gameday to go on. Donny Baarns, a new voice of the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers, returns to A's spring training broadcasts where I imagine he'll have a cavalcade of guests come through his broadcast booth. Baarns had been the Voice of the Visalia Rawhide, the California League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

This post was updated on March 19 to reflect the addition of a radio broadcast on 95.7 FM The Game on Thursday, March 24 against the Texas Rangers.
