Game Thread #151: A's vs. Rangers

It's a slow march to the end, but baseball is better than no baseball.

Playoff contender Texas comes to town looking to pad its one game lead in the division. After a couple of rough seasons in Arlington, you have to feel slightly good about the Rangers. At the very least, they are not the Angels.

The A's trot out their lefty killing lineup against LHP Martin Perez, a lineup which save Josh Reddick will likely be intact in 2016. Hopefully the talented bunch can put up some runs tonight.

Sean Nolin goes for the A's and is still the lone question mark for 2016 on the A's current staff. The Rangers pose a formidable challenge with the likes of Fielder, Choo, Beltre, and Moreland and this should be a valuable start for Nolin regardless of results.

First pitch is at 7:05, let's go A's!
