Greetings A's fans!

Tonight looks to be a rare pitcher's duel at U.S. Cellular Field, with Sonny Gray taking the hill for your Oakland Athletics, facing noted A's tormentor John Danks.

As a bonus, the A's got to play a four hour game in 90+ degree heat in Texas yesterday so I'm sure they're somewhat worn out as they continue the road trip. That being said this matchup promises to be more entertaining, and certainly at least more brisk...which would be welcomed on the part of A's fans.

It'll be nice to watch Marcus Semien and Josh Phegley get to take some hacks against their former team; do other teams have former team members turned tormentors like the A's do?

If you're a niners fan, this game is happening at the same time as that team's season debut; feel free to bring the football chatter to the thread if you like.

Sonny Gray is in a dead heat for the AL ERA lead with Dallas Keuchel, so that's something to watch for.
