Game Thread #107: Oakland Athletics vs. Baltimore Orioles

Fresh off a split of the home series against Cleveland, the A's are back in action tonight, taking on the Orioles as Jesse Chavez matches up against Tyler Wilson.

Happy Monday and welcome to another day of Oakland Athletics baseball! After stumbling on Thursday and Friday nights, the A's were able to put together wins in both Saturday and Sunday's games to split the series with the Indians, and will now welcome in the Orioles to the Coliseum. But we don't just welcome the Orioles in tonight's game. A familiar face will be starting in left field and batting second.

Welcome back, Coco Crisp! I won't point out the "too little, too late" irony for this season, but it is nice to see Coco back out in the field and in the lineup and I look forward to the Burns/Crisp top of the lineup. The badly-slumping Stephen Vogt hopes to have better luck in the three spot.

Jesse Chavez looks to finish his season strong, after falling apart a bit in the middle of the year.
