The Oakland A's got swept out of Canada, and now they've headed to Baltimore. With the rotation all askew due to Sonny Gray's back spasms, the A's called up left-hander Brad Mills to make a spot start. You know, Dollar Bills Mills. Buck Mills. Dolla Dolla Mills Y'All. Yeah, that guy. We still have him! But it's probably not preferable that he has to start.
The Orioles will counter with Ubaldo Jimenez. which can mean entirely different things depending on what year it is. This year, it's a bad thing for the A's, because he has been slightly above-average (instead of terrible), his walks are at a career-low (A's best chance of beating him is patience), and he's coming off 8 shutout innings against the Angels in his last start (they are way better hitters than the A's are). But for some reason, I'm always confident that there's a chance against Ubaldo.
Here are your lineups. Go A's!
